maybe someone can point me in the right direction because the ford dealer doesn't have a clue. I can't get my 00 f250 psd to get out of overdrive. I noticed at first if i pulled the stalk back as if I were coming out of park I could get it(the light) to come on and stay out of overdrive. Then it got to where I was having to bump it into nuetral to get it to activate. Now I have nothing. Replaced the button to no avail. Any ideas?

Probably the wiring. You could follow the wiring down and try jumping the 2 wires together. Most likely the light will go on and off. Could also be the light wiring that is the problem or the bulb burnt out.

checked the wiring with no luck. any other possibilities. thanks
