Dealer has located a truck for me. It's a crewcab 4x4 longbed LS, diesel, automatic, Red exterior. It stickers for right at $44000. What should I have to pay for this truck for it to be a good deal? i think there's a $4000 rebate for us folks in Indiana right now.

ATTENTION ATTENTION.

PM me first. I've got supplier discounts still available. I'll need some info. You will still get rebates, etc, however won't be able to haggle price. I believe it'll be something around 6% off.

I get two per month, and I'll go first come first serve.

Are you sure that the big rebates apply to the diesels?

I think they cut them off out here...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

I checked the chevrolet website this morning. For Indiana region is still shows $4000 rebate for diesel trucks and $5000 for gas.

Is that 6% off sticker or invoice.

We get supplier discount here where I work but when I gave the code to the dealer it came out to a few hundred over invoice. I though the supplier discount price would be below invoice. Some dealers around here wouldn't sell a diesel at supplier discount.

Supplier used to be just a bit below invoice, but about November last year GM changed it, IIRC 1% so now it's a little over invoice.

Just to add my pennies, the rebates are to be added with the suppliers discount. Makes for a great deal. Opps! I read the above posts again, and it has already been mentioned. Any who, I second what has been said! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gifEdited by: Reineke

Yitsock, post over in the 'new vehicle forum' and add your name to the 'gm in the driveway' topic.

This is where people look to see who has them.

There are a few GM employees on here.

I have been itching to pull the trigger any day now for a DMAX Crew. I have been so busy at work that I have been putting it off for a while and man, what a mistake! The rebates went down for an 04 from 4000 to 2500 here on the East Coast and to put salt on the wound, Almost every dealer was asking very close to STICKER on what they had left. May just order an 05 and take an even bigger beating with only a 1000.00 rebate.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif
