Made a 180 mile loaded trip. Pulling app. 10,000 pounds of goats and gooseneck trailer. Really pleased with how the "Max" pulled.(stock) http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif Twice the ally downshifted from overdrive above app. 65. When I step on it, the ally will not downshift. The two times it did downshift I was not asking it to, did it on its own.(Did not have pedal to the metal, but I'm sure we were pushing a little) Do I have something wrong with the ally?

I'd imagine you were in Tow Haul foot off the GO when it down shifted?


GM programming addressed "shift business" awhile back in Overdrive.


Nothing is wrong with your tranny from what you have described.
