I am new here, but I have a question. Are you buying it from a dealer? If so, they can pull up all the info for you. If you are not buying it from a dealer, do you know anyone that works at a dealership? They might be able to do the same for you.

I was talking about the potential purchase in another thread and it was suggested that I ask this here...


So, here I am asking. I am sure I could get the dealer to do this as well but I am hoping to go back to the dealership (which is a good distance from me) armed with as much info as I can about this truck.

It all looks like minor stuff. I don't see any indicators of problems, is there anything anyone else sees?

I was just on the phone with the dealer and they told me the truck was converted to US spec and that the speedo and everything is in US spec. As far as the warranty, it was expired at 36k miles. I did fail to ask about the extension on the injectors... I wonder if the US conversion would affect that?

Well the whole engine is 5yrs or 100,000 miles with the extension to 200,000 on the injectors. Not sure what the time frame was on the extension.


That engine warranty should still be in force if it's valid here. Sound like it was converted, but one of the real techs will have to tell you how to verify that.
