Check it out like you would anything. Try to get a history of the service and such..... The main worry about the earlier trucks was injector problems. If you know the service history or can find it (VIN check), decide from there. The truck I bought was a local, one-owner and I'm not going to worry about the miles. woodchuck2 01-11-2007, 04:50 PM I would check it over like any other vehicle, take it to another shop if possible and let them check it out. Check all fluids, seals, u-joints, any under carriage damage, ball joints, wheel bearings, steering linkage, did it have a plow, etc. The vin check through GM is also a great idea for all dealer services and recalls that have been performed. The vin check will also show any problems that the previous owner may have complained about that the dealer could not duplicate and was never repaired. Good luck. | ||
