I am a new user to Diesel Place and this is my first post so please bear with me:D . I just installed an edge products juice with attitude on my 04 LLY and let me say WOW I think I woke up the Beast inside my truck. The truck is bone stock exect the tuner. I have been running the truck in setting 3. Now for a few questions. My first question is it a safe place to start running the programmer in setting three on my truck? Second question is what setting should I run for the tranny tourque lock up in? (I believe there is 3 different settings for that) Third, what is most important gauges that I should have displayed on the screen besides the EGT. Last what should be the next upgrade for my truck?

Welcome to the site. Keep it at level 3 or less if you have a stock trans. You can set the low boost fueling to any level without hurting anything. It's a matter of personal preference. I set the defuel on all locked shifts when I had mine and a stock trans. As far as guages I used the trans slip guage, pyro and ECT. Don't be alarmed if you see slip when the TC is not locked up. hey have fun with it, but just like lakingslayer the stock trans wont hold up. mine started going in to limp mode last week after two months in level 4. if you can resist the pedal pounding things will last. but once you read on this site for awhile you'll see it is really hard to control that urge. also the urge for more power. i defuel all shifts because i live in a very hilly area in ct and did not like the power shifts climbing hills.

ok sounds good but what should be the next upgrade on the truck, exhaust, trans, injectors?

diesel78, Thanks for asking this qustion i had the same one b/c I also just installed the edge/ *** on my 05 LLY. When i bought mine the dealer said i should run 3 regular driving, 2 towing. My question is if i want to race someone can i turn it up to 4 or 5 for alittle bit to race or will that mess stuff up too? The dealer said i could. . .just wanted to ask everyone on here.

FYI if you have to take the truck to the stealer for anything be sure to remove the Edge/Juice BEFORE you get there. TRUST ME!!!!!! I take mine off and put it in the tool box and lock it before I go there.
