not too shabby, havent run her much yet. will see what she is like on the way to work tommorrow.
and whoever said that when you remove the vaccum pump that a belt from a 93 will work. well it dont because it is the same part number as the stock one. i ended up with a belt that was two inchs shorter than stock. Edited by: steiner43511

I said it because I have one on mine.
You must be looking in a screwy book. The only '93 belt that should be the same length as what you had would be for a 1/2 ton with a 6.2.

i went to two places and they both said the same thing, napa and autozone.
the belt for a 93 6.2 is actually longer than a stock 6.5 belt. every 6.5 in the computer came up as the same belt at both places. so at napa i just got a one inch shorter and two inch shorter belt.
and if anybody needs a working vaccum pump i got one for sale.Edited by: steiner43511

Something is wrong with their books.
My '93 6.2 used the same belt as the 95 when they both had vacuum pumps. Now they both have them removed and use the same belt number on both. They were listed in the Dayco book for '92 and '93 6.5 TD.
