Could be the Juice, could be a bad injector, bad fuel, clogged filter.... How many miles are on your truck? Have you changed your fuel filter lately.... I had mine hooked up to a TECH 2 today and realized that I need to change my filter. All the signs were there.

Change the filter and see what happens, but I bet you have a bad injector. A new truck like that should not smoke.

Thats what i think to. if this dont work out i might just want to go to a new dealer. The one im at now there supposed be the bigest diesel shop around.

I would probably do to a different one if they are giving you the run-around. What dealer have you been going to?

What in the world did you see on a tech-2 that told you that?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif
Other then perhaps fuel pressure would not build, but I am curious as to what "all the signs" were

MarksDuramax2004- Is this truck an LLY? If you do a search you will find that many are having an idle/smoke issue with the LLY's. My truck was diagnosed with a bad injector and it is considerably louder than before. I would even call it a knocking noise. They are trying to locate eight new injectors for my truck but tell me it will be about 3 weeks. Im still driving it now. According to the Duramax Quality Manager at GM it will cause no ill affects. Have your dealer check the balance rates on all eight cylinders while the truck is in gear with the brake applied. My truck was within specs in park but was way out when they checked it in gear.
