For under $120 here are the parts. Autozone 4512 fuel pump $29.99 Napa fuel filter base FIL4309 $44.09 I used a 1 micro filter for $19.99 but here are many types to choose from at Napa. The fuel pump requires no rely as it only draws 10amps max It took about two hours to fabricate and install the system.
if you choose to use a oil pressure switch the # Napa BK 6101038. Napa also has a momentary on rely to pressurize the system when you first key up. [ I did not add the oil switch so my pump always runs when the key is in the RUN possition not Acc.]

What are the specs on that pump? flow rates and pressure
How is it (the fuel pump pressure) regulated? internal or seperate external

10 psi I believe the flow rate is 45 gallons an hour I will post pics in a couple of days. the system has been running great on my 03 D-max with a diablo preditor on 120 HP and a small turbo mod.

Is it free flowing in case of lift pump failure? I would be inclined not to think so.

Thanks for including the part #s. I purchased a GM Factory 6.5L flow through lift pump off ebay and have been waiting to install it on my 02 DMax; however, I was delaying until I identified a Power On Relay that would "prime" the system before startup. I have looked at the Kennedy pick up mod, but I wanted to try it without first. The pick up mod looks like a "no brainer" and any fuel system seems that it would benefit from it.
Like others I would like to see pics of the parts and an explanation of where everything is installed/connected especially electrically.
Without hijacking the post, has anyone tried to insulate a lift pump with the foam pipe insulation to cut down on noise?
I am attempting to do some of the simpler less expensive mods while I am saving for EFI Live.
