Has any one heard anything about the Magnaflow 5" Turbo Back. I am going to order it tomorrow from PMTchips.com and I am wondering how it is holding up for people. I am mainly concerned with the fit of the system as well. I live in colorado so aluminized is unfortunatly out of the question, which is why i am going with the magnaflow T-409. I ran a Magnaflow 4" on my 04.5 for close to 3 years. Its got a nice tone at WOT but the drone killed it for me. It was terrible between 50-70. It is a good system though.

I switched to MBRP and the drone was gone.

so do you think that it will be the same with the 5" system?

I have not had a chance to look at the 5" Dmax kits, but I can tell you that their 5" Cummins kits come with a 4" core muffler. They say the 4" core mufflers actually made more HP on their dyno. It also makes the system much more quiet than say an MBRP kit that has a true 5" muffler. I dont think you will have drone issues with this setup.
