http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gifI was travelling yesterday and the blasted thing froze up. My mirror temp read 94. I went to the auto car wash and left. My temp on my mirror read 74. It was soooo cold that I had to turn it down to level 1. About 20 minutes later the mirror temp read 92 and all was well. I was going along @ 85 mph and 1 hour later it was not kicking out any cold air. I turned off AC switch and turned to high fan only. @ 10 minutes later I turned the AC on and it was cold again. Travelled another 2 hours and all was well.

My problem with this is that the AC should not of froze after 1 hour of use. Any ideas? And what to do? My unit is the standard one and not climate control.

Someone else posted the same thing within the last day or two. Not sure if he had any answers yet or not. I'll see if I can find it for you.

I remember reading about it. I believe his issue was related to the cab air filter.

My unit always blew plenty of air, it just stopped blowing cold air like the AC line was frozen. I wanna know how to keep that from freezing up or do I have to live with it? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Throw Up.gifI have read different posts but I dont remember anything about this before.
