I received my replacement Hot Juice/Attitude v4.81 to correct the crank/no start problem. This problem is completely gone so I'm very happy with the Edge quick action on that.

I just began going over power Level 3 since I did my Stage II tranny (with the 190 PSI TC valve) in late June.

Lately I installed my new Hot Juice v4.81 and the power delivery is not as smooth. I feel a big defuel that last about 1 second (but feels like forever in a drag race) late 2nd or begining 3rd. This seems to be around the time the TC would lock but I don't remember having that problem with my previous juice box. I can feel when the power is comming back after a second or so and I see a puff of smoke comming out the back.

I feel that defuel alot more in 4wd than in 2wd. It feels the same as an Max EGT backdown but at the time the Max EGT is disabled (the power level flashes in the upper right corner of the attitude). My low boost fueling is at 5 (but I tried other settings as well) and no defuel between shifts.

As anyone seen that? Could that be the tranny commanding a defuel because it hasn't been reseted correctly in fast learn or is it Juice related. I realy don't think my tranny is slipping because in Level 5 under WOT, the millisecond the TC lock, the slip indicator goes to 0% and stays there.

Towing a heavy 16,000# trailer on level 2 shows no slipping as well.

The best time I was able to do is 8.86 for 1/8 mile. I feel I should be able to de a little more without that problem.Edited by: Maxter

Watch yor Tachometer on the shift..........

I'll bet the farm you are running at 3200 rpm causing an ECM fit and defueling............as that is close to the stock rev limiter.

Get 300-400 more rpm's out of the engine and it is a night and day difference.

my max shift rpm I have seen in 3473 rpm's..........stacking a tuner program with the rev limiter pushed out has seemed to help alot.

Hopefully I will have a combo soon to do what I want.........

A guy shouldn't need the RPM increase though if the trans is doing it's job...

kennedy: You're pointing out a tranny problem and I would like to know more about your toughts. Is it an adaptive shifting , pressure, clutch etc?

Not sure just yet. Does this happen at about 40-45mph assuming corrected speedo and 265 tire size? Edited by: Kennedy

Will have to check on that to give you an exact answer. I seems to happend just before the 2-3 shift with or without T/H. As soon as the truck is in 3rd, I see a puff of smoke and I'm blasting down the track again.
