Has anyone encountered any problems using in-channel visors w/the vertical tow mirrors? I took mine off my 03 to put on the new one and tried putting them on this morning. The passenger one seems to be fine and slide right in at the bottom, but the drivers side seems to be hitting something at the bottom. I assume its something to do w/the mounting of the mirrors, but not sure. Seems like it would be the same to both sides. The rest of the vent goes in fine, and i could prolly run them as it is, but it pinchs the felt and whatnot when the window goes up and down. Wont stay tight either in the channel either
Im going to take them w/me too work tomorrow and try them on a friends 06. Just wondering if anyone else encountered this..These are Auto ventshade brand, bought at napa. Also should note, i checked out there website and the part #'s are the same for both 03 and 07..
I toook some pics to try and show it not sitting in there ...

I went with the In-Channels and i don't have that problem. What i would do is cut off the bottom 1" of channel track. That way it won't press in the channel and create a problem with the window. It shouldn't be enough to cause problems either. My set came with double sided tape and it just held in fine.

I went back out and looked at it because its bugging me. After pulling the passenger side on out,it looks like the drivers side one isnt curved out enough. The driver's side comes out a little bit before it kinda curves out, the passenger side curves right out, after coming out of the window track... I think im going to buy another set and if the news are ok, ill just sell my these one to my buddy who bought my old one...
