On July 23rd i was sold 15 gallons of water and approx 4 gallons of fuel. Shell is paying the bill though the fuel was pumped out of a tesoro tank.
had the fuel/water pumped from the tank. went through 6 filters and then went to Chevy they rmoved the tank had it cleaned and flushed the fuel system. Still no good engine would run fine then blast the world with smoke. the engine rattles and loss of power. So they replaced fuel pump sensor and one other item. Just ran through a tank of diesel motor runs well 95% of the time the other 5% its real ugly. I fear people lose site of the road cause they can't see. Monday I take it back my thought is all new injectors. Anybody been through this. Is there a better fuel filter system we can install cause the one in there sure did not protect the engine.. I doubt anything would protect you from 15 gallons of water! Maybe Street Pro should develop a cutout for fuel systems. . . when detecting more than 75% water the cutout automatically opens to dump the water. Good thing someone else is picking up the bill on this one.

I see a new motor in your future if it continues to cause you problems....they will probably replace all eight injectors first though.

Well the dealer had my truck for two more days says there is nothing wrong with the injectors. scan code still shows dirty fuel but fuel tests ok.. Truck does not run well. they told me to drive it and stay in touch....Ken

Thats bulls#@T...take the truck back and tell them to STAY IN TOUCH!!!

I agree I have made up my mind to find someone who wants to work on my truck. Ther is no sense in going back to a place that just seems to want to flush you.. I live in Arlington WA any body have any referals.. Ken
