Anyone installed fender vents yet?
I seen a newer Chevy truck with some 07 Cadi fender vents and it looks hot.
I want to do it but was wondering if there is any advise out there.

I agree 100% but these fender vents are the real deal and 100% functional.

i like them on the escalades, i would like to see a truck with them.

If you just cut the fenders to mount these, wouldn't you just be venting the wheel well? If you do that, your going to get a lot of road spray when it rains, and other debris comming out the vents. Are you planning on running some ducting to the engine compartment?

I was trying to come up with nicer looking fender vents for my Healey, and something similar to those would look good! (They actually look like a cross between a Cobra vent & a Healey's side spear!) Thanks for the idea!

Don't think I'd put them on my truck, though.

haha functional, your not exactly driving an indy car there. wouldnt be much function to your truck. id say go for it if you wanna cut a hole in your fender for some bling. they do look nice on an lade though

i wonder if these would help keep some hot air moving out of the motor bay during hot summer day towing? if so id def toss a pair on my truck.

Caddy? Escalade? I'm sure you guys do not live where there is a huge population of "Democrats" or you would not be trying to "bling out" your trucks.

I have 16" black wheels because they are as far as you can get from 22" chrome ones.

I would rather my truck look like Jethro or Billy-Bob than Leroy or Leshauntel

Next you guys are going to be telling me you want to add chrome door handles :eek:

I'm anti bling too, but those things would look cool painted color matched to the truck.

Just kidding guys, but eveyone and their brother was showing fender vents at SEMA. You can add them if you want, but I bet they will be the next big thing on sport compacts and ghetto bombers. I bet there is even a few guys on here that dropped a few grand on those wheels spinners. I'm sure they really enjoy thier investment.

I'm not sure how the scale is. I think it might be too big. If anyone knows, or has comments, I can change it, move it around, whatever. but here's a start.

Seems darn near everything else has been tried to help the over heaters. What's one more thing to add to the arsenal as long as they are truely functional?

hey dwrat your orginal pic quality sucks, i'm guessing cuz you attatched it, but you could PM me and email me a better one if you want. I did what I could though.

Could someone tell me how long these vents are from side to side? And the measure of something on the truck? like the D/A badge width? It's really hard to BS and guess the scale on pic of a whole truck, but I can measure stuff and resize the vent by scale really easily. I think it's too big on this one.

yea, it's ok. I just looked at the Escalade pic again and I over compensated for the angle the picture of the vents was taken at, so the front should be raked down a little more, and it should be longer and shorter. If anyone wants to send me a high quality pic of the side of your truck as square as you can take it, and also measure how long the Duramax badge is, I'll be able to make a better one.
