I installed my Nictane kit back in Feb., along with the TFI 45 gallon tank. Everything is working great so far since then about 11000 miles


Which brings the question. How far is everyone going for the change interval? I thought i remember a suggestion of 12K or so. Has anyone gone much longer and inspected the results or had any problems going longer?

As I recall no one has seen the limits of the Cat filter and some have changed it past 15k miles. Of course it all depends on fuel quality.

i have posted several picture of the cat filters anywehre from 12k to 22k miles on them. i would suggest you change it between 15k and 20k.

I'm going to change my first one at 15K and dissect it then. I end up buying fuel from all over, so I expect my Cat filter will be seeing more "extreme" service than some.
