dirty old man

Last winter I added a front tag from GA Sheriff's Assoc. to my '03, it is a good way to avoid problems with overzealous deputies here in GA.
Then when Summer got here I noticed that my AC didn't seem as effective as it once was. Placed a thermometer in center vent and the temps didn't look as low as those in my car. So I started reading here and when I got to the TSB's I found mention of incorrect mounting of front tags. Seems that the logical appearing mounting of bracket upward places the tag in position to partially shroud the air holes in the front bumper, and that is the way I had mounted mine!
Removed tag, reversed bracket, remounted tag in it's new, lower position that doesn't shroud bumper holes. Now AC is back like last Summer and with auto climate on and set at 68deg the thermometer I placed in vent reads 60deg @ 95deg outside!
Just a heads up.
