i am new to the diesel scene, and i am planning on getting my truck around the 450 hp range. how much will a transmission kit help and what is the best one to get? i saw some articles on the transgo and the jr but which one is sufficient for my plans?

The 06 lbz uses the transgo jr shift kit you also should get a suncoast 1057 converter also a magtech pan is nice and a suncoast transfer case brace doesnt hurt

A transgo will work for now, but I can tell you that once you get to 450 that you will not want to stop there. So might as well get ready to spend some money and get the trans done.

Transgo Jr will let you run 85 hp over stock in the '06 pretty safely and that is about it.

If your gonna run 450 a stage III would be good
