Do you like the sound? Are you constantly stepping on it to hear it? That is really the only way it should hurt your fuel mileage.

Chasely27, I'll bet that Max and Burner are right on the mark...however since you purchased this used; did you check for debris or critters in the system before you installed it? Are you missing a cat? I'd check the flow at the tip to see if it is responsive to RPM changes. If you have a Pyro and boost gauge are they consistent with the before installation readings? It does sound good...doesn’t it? Good luckhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

ROFLMAO. Hey, I'm missing a cat, but I don't think it's stuck in Chasely27's exhaust. That fat bastard couln't fit in a 10" exhaust.

Probably just a fluke that your milage dropped at the same time.
Check for a sticky caliper(i've had 2 now) and also check for the e-brake shoes to be adjusted too much or sticking (also had this). My mileage had dropped huge and now its back after these 2 things were attended too. Also check your tire air pressure while your at it. Simple thingas, but sometimes get overlooked http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
