I ordered an Evolution today :D . They said I should get it tomorrow. I can't wait.

My 1st question is: When you change the tire size for larger tires, is it accurate? Can you use the real numbers? I have the Predator now and the tire recalibration is a joke. I have 265/75's on the stock 16" rims and I had to play with it forever to find a size that would get me close to right. I think I finally settled on 234/78/16.

Secondly, after you recalibrate for tire size and up the speed limiter on one level, does it default to the other levels as well, or do you have to "customize" each level individually? I know on the Predator, you only have to do it once and it changes all the levels.

Thanks in advance,
Phillip

The evo instructionsl has all of the common tire size heights converted to mm. You then use the arrow keys to increase tire size by mm. Very easy. Once this is done, it is carried over to all three different power levels. Very easy to use and pretty self explanatory. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out on my dads truck. He's in love with it.

Just got mine from xtreme diesel today. Only run it for a min on tow mode and it is awesome. Pod fits good and its so easy to put in. I am actually about to go fix the speedo right now.

You need to choose customize each time while loading a power level. Then adjust your speed limiter if wanted, and your tire circumference in mm. Best way to do this is make a chalk mark on your tire, put a mark on a flat surface adjacent to the mark, roll one full revolution, place another mark on the surface and measure the distance between the two marks in mm. Once you load that number, check your speedo with gps. Also set the speedo pid on the evo to check it digitally, it can be off as much as 3 mph due to springs and tolerances and such. This method should get you extremely close and as your tires wear or if any changes are made, it is very easy to change or adjust. You do need to change these numbers every time you change power levels though, and with my version, you cannot adjust the tire size and speed limiter on the stock setting. They may be updating this though in the future, hopefully. Hope this helps, Tommy
