What the? I just got my factory service manuals for my 04 lly, all 5 of them. 18 inches of books stacked together. My brother has a new 04.5 durge cummins, he only got 2 books, less than 5 inches stacked..
Is this good news or bad news?Edited by: duramaxtom

It's pretty hard to beat GM's service manuals IMO. They are very in depth. You won't be disappointed.

Is there anywhere you can get them on CDRom, without having to buy every truck ever made? I have only seen the $300 CDRom with many makes and models I could care less about. I get the paper manuals to greasy.

Look on Ebay for SI2000. You can pick it up pretty cheap.

How good is the SI2000? Is it comparable to the Helm manuals?

I don't really know how it compares. I have never had a problem finding what I am looking for. It is nice to be able to search without having to flip through pages as well. I am really happy with the SI2000.
