Since installing my PPE tuner (and removing my VA box), I can peg my 30lb Isspro boost gauge under WOT, and it sucks my filter minder as if the filter is coated with mud. Normal?

I have a PPE boost fitting that I haven't installed yet; if I can hit 30lbs as it is now, I'm worried it might overboost and damage the turbo with the boost fitting installed. Should I be concerned?
