Here would be a good place to post details (and pics?) of your recently developed kits. What say you?

Looking forward to a quality and stout replacement. My truck has just shy of 29,000 miles. On occasion, I get the dreaded hard pedal issue. So far so good, the flywheel is still in one piece.

CPMac - are you confident that your clutch will address the hard pedal issue? Are you offering single and dual disc options?

I'm not sure about the hard pedal issue, but he does offer a single and dual disc setup. The flywheel is billet Aluminum.

Aluminum? How thick is it? Weight? Never heard of an alloy flywheel. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

The flywheel I received from Craig is not billet aluminum. It appears to be machined solid steel from the looks of it (and weight of it), which is good. It's very heavy. Weight is in excess of 100lbs for flywheel, clutch (single disc), and pressure plate.

Surprise!! I spoke with CPMac twice today. Seems like a good guy. He promised to call me on Monday after he checked the parts status with the machine shop. Hope to be able to order it then. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
