I have a Predator for my LBZ and I am happy with it for the most part. However, it does not sem to have the punch that it did for the LLY, or the improved fuel economy. So I have been considering the EVO but I was afraid of warranty denial. I just got off the phone with the service manager at the dealership where I bought my truck and I couldn't believe what he told me. He said that he was OK with chips or tuners that didn't exceed 100-120 hp. As a matter of fact he said his AVS or AVT or whatever the important GM warranty person is called told him that he would not tow without a programmer. Immagine that! Anyway, he said that I couldn't blow anything up as long as I did not exceed the 100-120 hp tunes.
Having said all of that, should I sell the Predator and go with the Evo? How do they compare? I know that ther are threads asking the same thing, but I would like to here from someone that has used both. Like I said, I am quite happy with the Predator, I just like the idea of an EGT monitor and maybe better fule economy.
Thanks in advance!
Phillip

Pm fellow member Zick, he just sold his predator and got the edge evo, I dont think you can go wrong buying it. Seems to be a great unit and the attitude monitor is great for monitoring your engine!

My chevy dealer sold edge and installed them. They have no problem with programers.
