I've noticed that since I started running McRat's 20/20 tune I get a pretty strong buck/surge when rolling very slow with my foot riding the brake. When I'm stopped it's smooth. When I'm rolling with my foot off the break ist's smooth.. Only when very slow roll with foot on break..

Does this make any sense? I can't imagine why it would do this..

The 20/20 tune is more for learning how to make your own tunes, by teaching you a few basics. It is not a good everyday tune. (And I don't believe Pat intended it to be used as an everyday tune.)

it was pretty jerky on my truck, mine didn't have a problem with foot on the brake but I noticed when I put it in park it idled like crap. I agree, just use it for reference.

it think in that thread he even talks about not changing the values down low to prevent what you are talking about.

or maybe that was the lopey idle thread....? but pretty much the same.

Since the entire table is changed instead of tuning cells individually, you will alter areas that perhaps do not require it.

Our Blue truck ran pretty smooth with it. But it's certainly not as refined as tune that takes more than 20 minutes to write. ;)

If you want to improve the tune, start adjusting the timing and fuel in the idle - off idle areas downward.
