Has anyone installed a Alpine IVA-W200 in a 4500, if so what are your comments

I wanted too but was told, by an installer, it is a double deck and it wouldn't fit correctly without modes to the dash bezel. Already had the single Radio/Nav (Alpine) so I went ahead and put that in with a mounting kit. Took about 20 minutes to install the radio. Half a day for all the wiring. If it can be done I'd like to know how too.

I have one in my truck, it fit just fine. I have a 06, it had a double din radio in it from the factory. I will get some pictures asap.

Ok here are some pictures (yes I know they suck) there was no cutting of the factory dash. We did have to make our own install kit to fit it right into the dash. At the time of doing this there was no kit out yet for the Kodiak from Alpine, which was in Oct. As for what wires went where, no help there. There was another post with some wiring info on here.
