If I remember correctly, several people on this board reported the clear Recon lenses yellowing after time.

Of course they are foreign made. If they were made here they would be $400 dollars. They guy making them in China is happy to make them for about $150 a month in wages.

The high school dropout here wants $25 an hour + health insurance + retirement + vacation + sick days + holidays + plus all the human resource PC crap we currently have in this country.

I bet they could make them here and they would sell a few, but they would then get a competitor that would spring up in China that would copy their design. Lots of people on here like to talk about buying made in America, but there are more people on here looking to buy their oil filters as cheaply as possible. I hope everyone is smart enough to see the dichotomy in this scenario. If you look for a deal on everything you push manufacturers to move production to China, If they do not their competitor will win the price wars by going there.

The American consumer is driving production to China, do not blame it on what you consider greedy companies.

I thought that by putting the amber bulbs in might cause this, but I see in you garage that you have the ambers also.

The bulbs that I have in mine are not the ones that Recon sent me. Imo the ones they use are junk. They worked well for a day or two, then 3 of them went dim. I installed amber 194's.

I just installed mine. I didnt get the recons however. I liked the OE Amber ones. So i got the ones from Auto Barn that Tophog recomended in his DIY install. I love them. They look great and as tested today, dont leak!

Is installing the Cab lights very difficult, because i have always wanted to get them but not sure if i can do it myself. I have heard that the roof liner has to come off, and i have no clue about about going through that procedure.

Blame not only the american consumer, blame the american worker! Unions are great as long as they dont get too greedy; once they get greedy, they end up hurting the people they're trying to help.

Take a look in the DIY section under cab light install. I used these for my install. I am by no means an expert, but if you follow these instruction it should go well for you.

You are very right about that. I try to not pick on the unions much here because this site seem very pro union.

Unions were needed in America at one point, I am not so certain they are needed now.

Just my opinion.
