Tried to order the synthetic oil from GM parts direct for my differential and they say they cannot ship due to unsealed containers, so cancelled my order. Anyone know where we can order this without paying the high cost from the dealer?

Many of the supporting vendors here sell the lube as well as most anything else you need.

Or if you choose go to a local Auto Parts store and buy 75W-90 GL5 synthetic gear lube.

I have run Valvoline and Mobil 1 gear lube with success.

If your looking for the GM lube, you can get it from www.gmdieseltech.com (http://www.gmdieseltech.com). I ship it regularly and at less then the dealer charges. Some care must be taken in preperation of shipment, but I have had no problems. If your looking for different fluid, then you will likley find it from a vender here

I recommend eric aka dmaxallitech, I purchased some grapejuice from him. Great service!!!!. BTW if some of you recall, I had some strange vibes coming from my diff while backing up and turning, at the time I was running mobile syn in my diff, I changed back over to grapejuice and the vibration is gone.

I got Mobil 1, which is what I'm using, at Advanced Auto.
