I've heard of problems with previous versions of The Edge doing weird things (can't remember specifics) to where guys were unplugging them to mitigate their problem/s. Supposedly the corporation acknowledged thiese problems before putting out this lastest version.

Please dispell any horse puckey rumors I may have heard as written above.

Feedback from the guys who are running the most current version on throwing codes or any problems.....or is it full steam ahead.

Also, cold air intake...i.e. AFE Stage II. I've heard that people feel a difference with the intake by itself, others have said it just pronounces your turbo whine (cool  ) and nothing else. Or does it not make a difference until you get your exhaust out to 4" in combination with the AFE Stage II. All this in tandem with an Edge Attitude to get things really going.

Im dont have my New Edge Juice/***. installed yet, but im hoping the bugs are out. I have the AFE stage 1 intake and its Awseome. Its a Well built item that has a huge filter. The turbo sounds from adding it are awseome. But i dont reccomend the stage 2 cuz the stock intake tube from the air box to the turbo is NO restiction.its smooth and round. Most will say save your money as a CAI is really not need but im really happy with mine. Some say EGTs are lower with a good system too, but i cant confirm or deny.

The new Edge boxes seem to have the bugs out. The first box I had ran high EGT's and high boost. The new box they sent me is working fine with no issues.

mine is fine. i was a beta tester and neither one i got had any problems. intakes add throttle response, not horsepower. if you drive with one for a while, then take it off youre more likely to notice a difference.

Mine should be in my hands tomorrow from Xtream diesel. How do I tell if I have the latest version?

I wouldn't bother with the turbo timer. It causes all kinds of codes. The Edge resets them but it's real unnerving to see all those codes going off.

Why would you not use the turbo timer? Save your turbo. Who cares if you have to secret low voltage codes just clear them before you bring you truck in. I used to clear codes on startup, but I shut the option off because I want to see new codes.

It didn't always clear a brake code until I started the truck for a second time or reset the codes manually. Any good remote start will have a turbo timer that won't throw codes

I really like mine, no problems here as well. I think the turbo timer works very well. I do not get an engine light, but the ABS, E-Brake lights, and Service 4WD on the DIC comes on when the turbo timer is operating. It really not a big deal to me, I just set the Attitude to clear codes on startup.

To me, the turbo timer is really optional. During normal driving the EGT's on my truck are usually low enough to shut down (below 300°) by the time I stop and park. But, when I tow, I really like being able to get out of my truck, lock the doors, walk away and the truck will automatically shut down when the target EGT is reached. As apposed to my older trucks, I would sit and watch the EGT gauge until the EGTs were cool enough to shut down. My feeling is, if you dont like the lights, dont use the turbo timer. You dont even need to plug it into the fuse if you dont want to, the Juice/Attitude will work fine without it.

Why 4 sale? I might be interested if I could find the money.
I would like to know what the latest version is.

I heard McRat had problems with the Edge throwing transmission fault codes when it was stacked with the PPE Hot Xcellerator. Is this fixed? Thanks in advance.

I have bad rattling with my edge too, I hate that sound--sounds like a cummins or powerstroke.
