anybody have amp-research power folding running boards,im thinking ofbuying some,do you like them?,did anybody install them themselfs?,,how much were they?

Love them, did them myself and just put a set on the father-in-law's Duramax.. Got them for $1100ish and went on in 3-4 hours.

From what I've seen of them I am impressed.

I just went muddin' and the drivers side got hung up a little till I got all the mud off. They work with current sensors so when they feel resistance they shut off. I just washed the truck and stood on the step while I closed the door. It stays in the down position to allow you to wash it without the ladder. When I installed mine, I took undercoater and sprayed the area where I drilled and all of the other exposed metal.

The steps hook up to the door trigger so you'll need to remove the two front door panels to complete the install. NO REGRETS AT ALL!!!!!
