What is it and what can I do with it? I believe it's that black knob under the hood near the right front and assume it has something to do with either the fuel injection system (that's what it looks like in the exploded view anyway) or with the air conditioning system.

Also, what happens if I turn it!?!?!?!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Your rear bumper falls off http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif

Actually it is to measure the fuel pressure/vacuum. You can buy the expensive gague for this or the not so expensive gauge from kennedydiesel.com

so the knob is just a cap for the guage port, not an adjustment?

Yeah, unscrew it (what out for the rear bumperhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif ) and you will see a schrader valve. Follow the line one way and you end up on the filter outlet, the other way it disappears under a pile of stuff in the valley on the way to the injector pump. The A/C schraders are on the exposed aluminum tubing.
