Is there much too the install of these kits? Is it anything that any regular tranny shop wouldnt be able to toss together for me?

I most likely wont be doing the work myself and I need to pick a place to get it done so I'm wondering if I should be somewhat reserved as to who puts it together for me. I want a quality job done.

I did alot of checking around today. Called about 8 places or so and only 2 places can build "upgraded" ally's.

DOT Tranny said they havent done any built up ally's but they can put a kit in for me if I bring them the parts. Shop rate is 80 buck an hour over there. So roughly 3500 bucks CDN, but I'd have to drop my tranny myself and take it over there. So far they sound the best.

NADP wants roughly 5 grand plus my tranny or a core charge of 1800 i think they said. And the tranny they will give me he says should handle 500rwhp but their guarantee doesnt sound good.

Right now Im thinking about taking a vacation to california and having one of these dudes that everyone talks so highly of do it. Just have to make sure everything goes as planned or im stuck in cali.

If I cruised my truck down there and dropped it off for him, roughly what kind of cost am I looking at to get a suncoast 3 and a new converter tossed in?

Also what kind of time frame does he work on? I'd only have about a week or so time off. So It would need to get done in 2 or 3 days tops.
