Has anyone installed a computer in their truck like these guys...http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/index.php

it's an awesome idea; the only problem (at least last time i saw that site) was the power supply and ongoing fan noise. Everytime you started your car the power died and it would have to reboot.
There are some SMART people that site!!

Yes. I put the computer itself underneath the back seat in the middle; the screen mounted on the transmission hump on top of a platform. The screen's a 15" 3M ELO touchscreen. I find that I don't use it nearly as much as I thought I would; it had everything on it I would ever use; Streets&Trips for GPS, wi-fi antenna in the rear window, EFILive, DVD player, music, etc.

Where do you mount the 15 inch monitor?

I've been thinking of doing this for awhile, but I would want to mount the screen in the dash where the stock head unit is. I am not very experienced with fiberglass, so fabricating a bezel for the monitor is out. I've looked for an aftermarket mount for the monitor with no results.

Any tips?

Aftermarket monitors exist, they're small though. Try searching around for "double DIN VGA", or "double DIN touchscreen".

Is the stock mount in 2008 LMM's 1.5 DIN or 2 DIN? For some reason I thought it was 1.5.

By looking at these I'd say its still a double din.

I also found this and its much cheaper------> http://documents.victorytechnologies.com//documents/product/95-3305.pdf
You should be able to back mount a 7" screen without any problems.
