Hey guys,

I just got my case of Stanadyne in and was wondering if I understood the directions right. Do you pour in the tank enough for lets say 30 gallons or do you pour in the whole bottle and it treats for that amount? I am confused, what do you do? Also gonna add a dash of Cetane 8+ for a little kick. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

The side of the bottle is marked with ounces/gallons for treatment. Go by that - according to stanadyne's website, you can double treat with no issues but may (probably) won't get twice the benefit.

With a 16oz. bottle, I usually use 1/3 per fill-up. The whole bottle is good for 60 gal. of fuel, If I remember correctly.

Poor in enough for thirty gallons. NOT the whole bottle of treatment

If that's how much diesel you expect to put in to fill it up.

I keep some smaller 8oz empty water bottles to keep the Stanadyne in. When I fill up I just pour the whole 8oz in and dont have to try and guess how many oz I'm pouring in from a bigger bottle.
