I'm thinking of getting a lighted moonvisor for my truck. Anybody have anykind of visor on their truck? Anybody recommend a specific brand? Thanks for any input.:)

i had a lund on my 87 ford , it looked good and did shield the sunlight , but after a year or so it developed some leaks . when i removed it ,the holes that i had drilled to mount it all had started to corrode and rot the roof. i dont know how the newer ones are mounted ,but if they are put on the same way the old ones are , and you are close to the ocean and the salt air you might want to reconsider putting one on . just my experience.

I have a Lund Lunar (lighted) visor on my truck, it looks great, isn't noisy, and most of all I like it!

I have the Lund Moon Visor on my truck and love it. Have had them on all of my trucks since 1988. No problems. Just silicone the holes when you mount it.

Excellent, everybody's input was very useful. Now all I have to do is decide which one to put on my truck.:)

Stick to the good old Lund fiberglass moon visor. In my opinion,They look a ton better than the plain ones and they always fit nice. I had bought a Lunar visor which is an ABS plastic version which bolts within the door jam and has padded mounts for the roof so you don't have to worry about exterior holes. Never Again! After a short time, the pads came off, the visor flopped up and down all the time so I ended up bolting it on anyway and the weatherstrip did not seal properly so it sounded like both windows were open all the time. Hope this helps you make a decision. Good luck, Bret

I had my Lunar drilled and bolted in the center when it was installed.

how many mph speed can these put up with? pretty much anything your truck can do? my Whelen lightbar gets unhappy at about 95...100mph.
