if the throttle angle thing is a problem, it will likely set a dtc. Also a scanner can be used to watch the pedal position sensor. I dont buy the bending anything bit. Sounds goofy to me.

when I was at Gm training this issue was put to us as a training test. the repair order stated owners 03 is not as responsive as there 02. no other issues no codes and no drivability problems.there is an answer no real fix.its a programing issue and voltage issue.I do not recomend to bend the pedal. I found if you the answer but dont want to give it out. If you live near Oregon or Portland area I would love to come out and fix it.

I'm with both of you guys WRT bending stuff. Thanks - Houston (TX) is great this time of year - about 100F today - bring your shorts...
