Just wanted to know if I could join the 3500 club?
I just upgraded from a 2003 Chevy 2500HD Duramax to a 2003 3500 crew cab dually with a Duramax I've added the BANKS 4" Monster exhaust and BD power programmer, and the 06' towing mirrors love the truck and wouldn't go back to a SRW.

Good evening to all the 367 members of the 3500 Dually Club. It is a fine night in Ohio, and I hope it is the same where ever you are. :ro) Well, once again we find ourselves gathering together for a good night of story telling and drinking :cool2: , with a whole new bunch of Dually Club members to bring into the best damn club in town. Tonight we have thirteen new members, and I'll be damn, that my 3500 Dually Club number, lucky #13. So let's get down to business and bring these new members aboard.

To the new members, let me be the first to welcome each of you to the 3500 Dually Club. I'm sure you have been watching this club as it grows, and found the exchange of helpful information between members to be just what is needed to make you and your big butt dually rig feel right at home. I like to think of us as a loose knit group of renegades and mavericks. Now some outsiders call us trouble makers when they try to peek around our big rear ends in a line of traffic. Of course they never accuse us of taking the closest parking spot. But the funniest thing is we always leave them all thinking, damn, look at those guys smiling ear-to-ear, and that cuz we love our trucks! To that, I offer a round of cold beers and the following toast in honor of our 13 newest members.

And keep those eyes open because Horsehaulin is putting together ideas on a 3500 Dually Club bumper sticker that will help us spot each other on the road.

I just wash them with soap & water. I wish I had your running boards though.

when I got the truck the wheels looked dirty and dingy... I used some mothers polish with the power ball and it was amazing how much of a difference it made. They almost looked like chrome..

The problem with my running boards is that since the stick out more they are also great targets for rocks. You should see how many chips there are.

Hey member number 368 here and first i want to thank everyone for accepting me and hope to possibly meet some of u someday at an event. Second I think hooded sweatshirts would be cool for the winters and t's for the summer let me know what u are gunna do and the prices and definetly count me in!

Unable to read all the coments in this thread, 100+ pages. Am guessing just notify this thread to be a member. Seems like most of the guys have the Duramax. I am a bit old school, 1982 4 door diesel dually. Full size bed and lots of load capacity. Not as fast as the Duramax but eventually gets there. Will post some photos soon.

One more thing. I've plotted out our membership ranks as a function of truck year for us to be able to see the distribution of members. Below is a histogram of these data. Now, we have a few members with trucks older than 1990 and their numbers are not show here. But we want those members to know we love'um and their trucks just the same. Anyway, there appears to be an interesting bimodality to the distribution that appears to be somewhat centered around the LB7 and the LLY Duramax model years.

We are still working on a secret handshake that can be taught over the net and yet remain :secret: , but it looks like that’s going to take some more time. Oh yeah, about dues. Well, we long ago decided just to put those into our fuel tanks where they belong. So to be a 3500 Dually Club member in good standing, you just have to be nice to your truck, your dog, and your girl, and you’ll fit right in. Helps if you like beer too.:grd:

What is this about a 4x4 not rewally being 4x4 on a 4x4 3500 dually is it not true 4x4 where front and rear turn?

Just to be clear, our Grand PooBah is 3500 Dually Club Member #15, Duramax Dually. Duramax worked hard in the early days to get us our own area at DP, make us a Dually only club, and has run off about 150-200 T-shirts at cost that many of us proudly wear as often as we can. Thanks Duramax :ro)

Just returned home from from a 2250 mile trip to see my son get lynched (opps, I mean married) I left on Friday afternoon, stayed for the wedding / reception and got home last night.

I have to be gone all of next month and will try to find Wi-Fi hot-spots to keep posted on the news here. Unless I can get my 700p Palm Treo phone with data package to work as my modem.

I hope that I don't miss my requested numbers. I would like to proudly display them on the truck, so they can be seen where ever I travel.

How does one join the club ? we have a 1994 6.5TDHO 3500 dually cc, lb, 4x4 or 6x6... Also we have a 1993 6.5TD 3500HD rwd dually...

Not sure what is required out of me, but I'll join. Got a 93 Chevy one ton dually. 454 under the hood with the 4l80 transmission underneath. 4.10 gears all the way around so I have 6WD action on mine.

I have a 1984 6.2 TH400 GMC Sierra Classic, Crew Cab, Long Deck.
I'm based out of Westport in New Zealand and tow a 28' United Hauler for my race car.

My dually has been converted to right hand drive for a couple of years.

Lookie here, we've got us a fine new bunch of 3500 Dually Club recruits. Twenty five new members, some with new duallys fresh off the production line, others with older trucks, but just as faithful as a good old dog. Well, now these new members will all have a place to spend quality time with like minded dually owners.

Back in the old days before the 3500 Dually Club, the only place dually owners would meet up was way out in the outskirts of the parking lots where there is plenty of turning radius.:D Now we have another place to call home. No better club than this one. The day is not far off that the stealers will be trying to offer a free Dually Club membership as a deal sweeter when we go to buy a new big butt truck. You never know, we may even live to see the day that the 3500 Dually Club membership numbers and t-shirts are auctioned off on e-bay. Not mine thought, because I’m keeping all six of my t-shirts and my membership number lucky 13.

Well, enough of all this yaking, let’s get down to business. To all the new numbers, let me be the first to welcome each of you to the rank and file of the 3500 Dually Club. just upgraded from a 1 ton dodge to an 01 3500 lb7 and done it up good already ppe excelerator hot et+2 4" mbrp afe stage 2 floor it diesel cp3 f1 injectors ported heads and head studs no lift pump or tranny yet but the parts are bought i would love to be a member of the best dually club around
