These Trucks are the best out there. I have one, but... on occasion there are the LEMONS. I am curious,
...would anyone care to share their experiences and the protocols they went through to get their Trucks Bought Back?
Questions,
1. Did you do it without a lawyer
2. Did you do it with a lawyer.
3. Did you buy the same model again or allow a replacement or...
4. Did you just take the money and buy another vehicle on your own?
This information might be helpful for those who have had problems, and the experiences are yours. Also, remember to reiterate, that these were YOUR experiences, and that someone else might not have the same experience doing it.
And some states have different Lemon Laws.
IN short, was the deal you went though worth it, and do you feel you got taken care of?
Anyone care to share????
Thanks all...

NO ONE Wants To Share?
Thought I would have a few takers on this one. Just to see what some have had to go through!

I turned my 04 into the better bussiness bureau. Gm called that day. within 4 weeks I had a check to apply towards a new GM within a year. I could have fought it , but don't have time.

Keep 'em coming. I think this would be a great way to help some of those who are not sure what to do in a case like this.
I know talking to folks who went through it helped me to get mine in process. I am in the middle of negotiating a repurchase, and will share the results when I am completed. SO, this is for my own knowledge too!
If we stick together, we can hold manufactures to a higher standard.
One thing that I know is most important. Don't be lazy about getting your vehicle in for any problems, because the clock starts ticking from that point on, assuming the repairs are not completed properly over time. Diligence is important in keeping repair history and seeing to prompt repairs. This establishes a time line for the adjustments in a repurchase. AT the prices they charge for trucks nowadays, they should spin like tops. That's the way I feel anyways.
One thing I can say about GM, they do try to stand behind their product, and that is why I am purchasing another one. I feel they really want to put out a good product. Things like injectors are made by BOSCH, and Bosch will probably pay the price for all the failures. I am sure GM is not gonna stand by and take the hit. Especially if Bosch did not make them to specs. BUt that is a fight between GM and BOsch!

Did you get all your money back? Just curious how it worked out with such a new vehicle.

I got back aprox. 15% and kept the truck. I did not have the time or the money to fight it. It was getting bad fuel mileage and overheating on a hard pull. My dealer has got it doing quite a bit better, and he says he thinks he found the rest of the problem in 4 weak injectors.

Keep bringing it in if you don't get it to run right. Unless you signed away your right to further remedies. I feel we pay dearly for trucks now a days. Yes, they are becoming more sophisticated, but still , they are TRUCKS!
I paid as much for my truck as I did for my Mercedes E320, which I have absolutely no problems with! OF couse, I am not towing and pulling and hauling anything but my butt around in that! And I still like my truck more, except when I have to park at the store!!!!!
Good luck!
