anyone else experience irregular suspension noises ?? i do alot of driving on unpaved , gravel roads in campgrounds and in vermont during summer..the suspension makes quite a bit of rumbling noise that i feel is not normal. maybe it is normal, its my first heavy truck..anybody ?? tks in advance, bob

Check the rear leaf spring pads on the helper spring. If they fall out, (and they will), you will hear a lot of spring slap.


Also, with the stock shocks you'll get a lot of drive train bounce. As you can see in my sig, my 04 got new shocks when it was 5 months old. The Rancho's made a world of difference in loaded and unloaded drivability.


Bilsteins are also a good choice. This is my second HD truck and I wish I would have changed the shocks on the first one. It rode like a buckboard. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
