Anybody know what this does? Can it be zero? I have tried data logging it with no results.

Thanks
Jay

It appears to not be used on the LBZ. Some beta testers did some logging and I too was surprised to see no action. Maybe the LMM is going to get it with the tougher emissions.

Post injection will be needed with the advent of a particulate filter....the post injecctions are needed to raise EGT`s to clean the filter.....so expect this to be different on the LMM.

That'll be great for fuel mileage.

Is there supposed to be timing tables for the post injection pids?

I'll be honest, I don't remember what PID's were in the scantool in the beta version, but, look for GM.POST1T_DMA & GM.POST2T_DMA for Post Injection timing. But there is not point logging them, well, maybe not until the LMM hits the streets.

Post injection is there for emissions only. Lose it if ya got it.

I zeroed the post inj on Sunday. I have put about 100 miles on with no noticable affect.

Guys, if you log the Post Injection PID's you will see it never actually does anything. The tables are probably pre-calibrated for when LMM is out.
As Lennart said in an earlier post -

"Post injection will be needed with the advent of a particulate filter....the post injecctions are needed to raise EGT`s to clean the filter.....so expect this to be different on the LMM."
