Several of the forum supporting vendors (http://dieselplace.com/forum/showvendors.php?) have them.

Unless you have a lift pump, you can get back on the road just using a small stopper or rubber eraser, or anything that will make an air-tight VACUUM seal. There is no pressure at that port unless you use the pump or have a lift pump. On a stock truck it's a partial vacuum.

IIRC, Merchant Auto has metal bleeders. Get his cool filter wrench while you're at it.

The SS bleeders are available from Greg @ Lubrication Specialists. I do have those cool wrenches though!

They are Greg's product, I've thought of it, I have one on mine, but personally, I dont care for it, I like my plastic piece

The SS unit needs a slot in the threads so you dont have to remove screw to bleed, just crack it loose like the stocker

I bought several Racor OEM bleeder screws a few years back from Diesel Injection Service, which has several locations in Lubbock, Amarillo, and Dallas,Texas. Back then, they cost about $4 each. Racor part # RK 30818.
The right size screwdriver or nut driver, and barely finger tight.
I'm never without a spare. You break it, your SOL, (as you know).

A 10mm screw with a washer may get you going until spares arrive.
