I've got edge/juice w/ ***. on my lly. I've been driving around in tow/haul because the truck seems to shift better. I read the response by Tony about how it locks the converter in lower gears. I've got the defuel set for all gears. I guess I'm curious if I can leave tow/haul off and remove the defuel if I don't run any higher than level 3?
I know nothing is guaranteed, however just wondering if I'll be relatively safe http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Any thoughts?

Even level 3 on a stock tranny is pushing it over the limits. You can still slip it in 3rd. Time to upgrade your tranny.

Run it defuleing on all shifts unless you have a built trany.

Your converter will lock up under wot in lower gears even if the TH is off. Take a look at your attitude display for the TC lock up and gear when doing a WOT run. Dont pay too much attention to the attitude while doing a WOT run though, we dont want you running over a Hondahttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Stern Smile.gif When your converter locks line pressure drops to the clutch packs witch sucks.

I would say that 90HP juice with the defuel on is about as relativly safe as you can get. JMO anything over that is really pushing it. And the defule deal or lack of will mess with a trany harder than the power too IMO
