First off, sorry for the delay. When i was researching a new Duramax truck, i stumbled across this site. After lots of snooping, i took the leap. My first actual new vehicle is a 2006 Chev 2500hd LBZ/Allison, in july 06. Im hooked! Great website, very informative! The truck is great, even finally silenced my dad who kept sayin, "why a diesel, why a diesel". Guess he figured it out the first time i poured the coal to it with him in the passenger seat. My fiance is even feeding the addiction, got the gm service manuals from helminc for christmas and also got a green light for an fs2500 filter. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to learning as much as i can since i like to turn my own wrenches (warranties are a foreign concept since i've never owned new). Once again, thanks for a great website, and keep the greasy side down!

Congrats on the purchase. Greetings from WI. I also had the fatherly advice about owning a diesel but after he drove it he is looking for one when they come back from AZ.
Welcome Scott :thumb: :thumb:
It took me a long time to make the diesel jump.
I have not been disappointed. :)

Got my first mod the other day. Decal for the back window, Chevy bowtie in the middle of "Real Trucks Don't Have Sparkplugs". Did alot of searching on the internet and finally found a Chevy decal. Hopin i get the same performance boost the ricers get with their decals LOL. Oh, wait, i'd have to go slower first! I love this truck!
That decal oughta be worth 15 rwhp and 20 ftlbs of torque. ;)
