Has anyone had/seen this type of failure.
Pulling away from a stop it felt like I was slipping on ice (it was icy) didn't suspect anything until the next day when it did it again (not icy) then I lost all forward gears and reverse.

Codes?
Fluid condition/level?
How many times serviced?
Any noises or other things going on?

No codes, correct fluid level, no visible signs of leaks - no noise. When it 1st happened there was some forward drive with major slipping like I was on ice then nothing.
It was serviced for a leaky seal about 6,000 miles ago it would hesitate (spin up before engagement) after sitting for a week or 2.
I will be taking it apart when I have the time but it may not be for a while. just looking for some ideas.

I lost gears before. I got a new transmission out of that. If I pulled the gearshift to D or R I would just sit there and rev like it was in neutral. If I put it in 3, 2, or 1 I could drive.

No movement in D,3,2,1 or reverse. There is no noise. It will be several weeks before I can get at it. Any ideas before I tear into it?
