YOu could keep your stock exhaust and add this to run a separate pipe out the same, or other side or back or where ever you please. Neat idea though

Why the actuator?
Why not before CAT?
How much difference would this make for restriction?

you could put it before the cat and that way one could go out thru the cat and stock muff. the other could skip the cat and have a nice 4 inch pipe running straight back with a lot less back pressure. The sound would be really great and you could turn it off in your neighborhood, at the church parking lot, or driving with the wife! All this can be done on the fly from your cab by one little switch.

I saw it here. http://www.portadiesel.com/products/9902/exhaust2.html#powermaster
I called and the tech said it would fit any 3.5 or 4 inch exhaust. You can do it yourself or have it welded. Edited by: blowinsmoke

they make systems like that for boats, corsa makes a magnetic electric solenoid and other companies make a air actuated cylinder, and im sure this company also recommends to run it open full time, and only close it in low engine speed situations, if not them you will be replacing the actuators quite frequently
