Here lately i have been having problems with my trans shifting real hard sometimes. When I am going down the road it will shift fine from 1-2, and 2-3, but when it should shift into overdrive it will stick in drive for a few minutes and when it does shift it jerks real hard. Also, the cruise will not work after it does shift into overdrive. Any help is appreciated.

Check tranny fluid level and look for discoloration indication clutch plate wear other than that....A tranny shop can drain/flush/replace filter and refill for about 120 bucks. If theres anything mechanicly wrong, they can usually find it for you during the service, they'll know about the electronics on it too.Edited by: Texas Diesel Guy
