I have been putting a lot of thought into getting efi live for my lly. I currently have a edge and i dont really like it. I would like to step it up a notch. I was just wondering what the difference is between a V1 and a V2 efi live. Any help would be appreciated.

In the end it depends on what type of vehicle you have and your personal preferences.
The attached is a feature comparison between V1 and V2.
To check out which hardware supports which vehicle, you need to view our supported vehicles listing. http://www.efilive.com/supvehicle.aspx
Hope this helps

So in lamens terms how is the V2 better than the V1? I'm not sure that I get it.

#1 - V2 supports CAN communications. This means it can also talk to LBZ's, not just LB7's and LLY's.
#2 - Soon V2 will be able to run without a notebook computer. V1 will always require a notebook for programming.
#3 - V2 will be able to display engine info and hold multiple tunes in the future.

Currently V2 can read and clear codes without the need for a Laptop computer.
