Its the best 1/2" impact made IMHO. I have had mine for 3 years with daily use, not easy stuff either. Keep it oiled and it will last a long time. Yea, be carefull with bolts 1/2" and small as it will twist them off.

I have one of those bad mother truckers!!!! When i was working at the local international dealership I started off with a mac impact, biggest peice of **** I have ever had. There was another guy who had the IR 2135 and everyone ask to use his to break stuff that theirs woudlnt. So i got myself one. and wow that thing is beefy. being a semi truck mechanic trust me I put that impact to its test! our shops 3/4 drive impact couldnt bust stuff that my 1/2 IR 2135 could (mind you the shops 3/4 was older than me) That impact is the best and sounds like a ****ing big block with a huge bumpy stick! I love that impact.

The CP Turbo is one of the biggest air hogs out there....Seems to need 1/2" hose to work properly..

Give me the IR2135Ti any day..:D

I have the MT 1769 from matco which is identical to the IR 2135ti and i have the 3/8th's IR 2115ti and both of these guns are awesome for power and are nice and light. I used the 3/8th's quite often for tire rotations on cars and light trucks just so i wouldnt have to carry the bigger gun. Always torqued the lugs by hand, didnt always trust torque sticks on some vehicles. Used to use the IR Thunder Gun, this was a highly over rated heavy lump that was to loud and the exhaust exited the front of the gun blowing dust up in your face. Gave that pile away to a new kid that had a gun that was even worse. Good ridance!!

Damn I missed the boat, when I bought mine I only found the IR2131, the composite one. That has been a couple years though, how long have the 2135's been around?

Nothing wrong with a 2131 either really....small power increase and that's about it.

I use one of those where I work... Very cool! It's a very strong impact. That's got to be one of the best impacts you could buy for automotive use! :cool2:

Of course, where I work we also have one of the new IR 3/4" drive impacts... :D You just about need two people to use it... It is so big I don't like it. Too heavy and hard to use... ):h

The IR titanium kicks it. I used this to take off big truck wheels. I have also used it to remove pinion nuts. Company I work for bought them for all the servece trucks.

I just picked one up at a local swap shop for $75.00 new. He had about 7-8 used guns on the shelf with a $60-70 price tag. I was going to get one of those and asked him if they were all good. Then he said I have a few new guns in the back for $75.00.
