Hey guys,

I finally got my boost gauge all set-up with it tee'd in to the wastegate. So, took the truck out and 1st gear thru 3rd gear it will hold about 27psi and then in 4th gear and so on it climbs to about 33 to 35 psi? Is this bad for the truck? Can I leave it alone or how can I help this?

Thanks,

Chad

you can adjust the actuator down a bit. i wouldn't run 35 PSI all the time.. everyone has a different comfort level, and mine is 32psi max.. my turbo starts sounding funny at 35 psi.

Mine does the same thing. When I lowered the boost for overdrive, the lower gears also dropped, so I am just living with 34psi when in 5th gear so I can hold 30psi in the remaining gears.

My SPA recall shows a 34-35 psi spike after a run.

Mine has never been that high. The highest reading was 26-27 psi.

I haven't sseen anything that high either. Usually see ~25 max when cranking up the hills and she downshifts. Can it go up with a simple adjustment? Please tell!
