Has anyone relocated their oil filter?.. That location is one big pain the rear end!

i haven't had any problems getting at my filter eh... i use a socket type wrench on the fluted filter from the bottom. easy to get at i think with the socket and a 12" extension lying under the truck [and it sits high enough so no lifting is needed to get access under there :D ]

Yea, did mine yesterday.. I have the extension and the filter thingy... I try to start it by hand first, but it took a few minutes to line it up.. Next time I'll try with the extension...

I also used a ratchet and oil filter wrench like this. Very clean operation.
